Text on reverse of card reads:
The Cyclochila australasiae comes in several different colour forms, Yellow Monday being one of them. Other colours are Greengrocer, Chocolate Soldier (dark tan form) and Blue Moon (turquoise form).
They are found from southern Queensland to Victoria and South Australia. Nymphs live underground, sucking sap from plant roots, for up to seven years, before emerging as adults. Adults live for around six weeks. The males sing a loud 'song' to attract females, and often call in groups to increase the noise level and make it difficult for predators to locate individuals.
