Banksia menziesii is a tree growing to 10m, endemic to Western Australia. It has a beautiful flower and is used for cut flower production. The flowers attract honey eating birds. It is named Banksia after Sir Joseph Banks and menziesii after Archibald Menzies, an 18-19th century surgeon and naturalist.
