Darwinia citriodora is a member of the Myrtaceae family and one of more than twenty species of Darwinia endemic to Western Australia. Darwinia is named after Dr Erasmus Darwin, the grandfather of the famous evolutionist, Charles Darwin. Citriodora means lemon-scented.
