NSW Waratah - Telopea speciosissima card
Australian native plant
Reproduced from an original watercolour painting by Cheryl Hodges
Greeting card 10 x 15cm, blank inside with white envelope
Text on reverse of card reads:
The Telopea speciosissima is a striking large Australian shrub, the floral emblem of the state of New South Wales, to which it is endemic. Telopea is derived from the Greek ‘telepos’ meaning ‘from afar’ and speciosissima from Latin speciosus, ‘showy’ and issimus, ‘most’.
