An original watercolour painting of the Oldfield's Foxglove - Quoya oldfieldii. This is an Australian native plant.

Painting is unframed. Outer measurement is 25.5cm wide x 20.5cm high, inner window measures 14.5cm wide x 9.5cm high. This will fit into a standard 8” x 10” frame which will save you in framing costs.

Quoya oldfieldii is endemic to the south west of Western Australia. It belongs to the Myrtaceae family and is a shrub growing up to 1.5 metres tall. The leaves of the plant are egg shaped, greyish green in colour, with the leaves and branches being densely covered with brownish hairs. Quoya oldfieldii produces flowers in spring and summer which are pale pink with purple spots, and slightly hairy on the outside. They give way to oval fruit which is also hairy.
