Lasioglossum species of Australian native bee are quite common and there is quite a variety of colouring among the species. They are great pollen collectors, the specimen of Lasioglossum lanarium from which I drew the inspiration for this painting is covered in pollen. On each print I have added 23 carat gold leaf to some of the pollen, so each print is unique in its sprinkling of gold.
Limited edition Giclee print, edition of 50, comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. A4 size - 297mm x 210mm. Printed using archival quality inks and 300gsm fine art paper.
