Text on reverse of card reads:
Kennedia rubicunda is a vigorous climbing vine endemic to the south eastern coast of Australia. It has striking dark red flowers typical of the ‘pea’ family and glossy green leaves which are divided into three leaflets, a characteristic of the genus. The stems can be up to 4 metres long and are covered with rusty brown hairs. Due to its spreading nature it is used in horticulture to cover structures and embankments. The flowers are pollinated by birds and seeds can be dispersed by ants.
